Tullian

A speaker stands at a podium in a dim auditorium filled with seated audience members.
Our Pastor

Tullian Tchividjian is the founder of The Sanctuary. A writer and pastor who's been undone enough times to know the good news isn't theoretical. He's not here to impress you — he's here because he needed this place too.

Pronounced "TUH-L-ee-uhn" (like Tertullian) and "CHA-vi-jin" (like Religion).

Who HE is

Tullian has spent his life in and around the church — preaching, writing books, and learning the hard way that grace is for people who can't hold it together, himself included. He's moved through success and collapse, grief and recovery, and grace meeting him in places he'd long since stopped expecting it.

That's why he preaches the way he does — not as someone above the wreckage, but from inside it. He won't spend much time telling you how to fix your life. He'd rather remind you that the pressure to is already off. If you want the long version of how he got here, his books are honest about most of it.

The rest of It

Tullian and Stacie Tchividjian are the founders of The Sanctuary. Deeply shaped by their own experiences with recovery, failure, healing, and hope, they moved to Jupiter in 2019 committed to building a place for people who know what it’s like to hit walls, make messes, feel alone, and need help.

Together they share a blended family of five adult children, five grandchildren (and counting!), and a life marked by laughter, scars, and the steady reminder that nobody is beyond the reach of grace.
